This piece was born during a season of deep grief for me. As a Cancer and a girl raised near the ocean, when I close my eyes seeking safety, I see myself at the ocean, often within her. This piece doesn’t have words on it, because some things are just beyond them. Just like our relationship with animals, nature and grief -- we can exist in the silent presence of it all, and let ourselves learn and heal. This piece is on us simply existing, and letting mother nature care for us. Including, all of her creatures.
