Service Description

Are you ready to try a new healing modality on your journey of working through body-image? Our relationship with our bodies is one of the most sacred relationships we will have in our lives. It’s a complex relationship layered with our personal experiences, inner-dialogues and the stories we have been told about how we SHOULD feel about our bodies. In this 2 hr workshop, we will explore that relationship through therapeutic arts practices (NO PRIOR ART EXPERIENCE NEEDED!) This workshop is not product focused; it’s process focused, so no need to be an ‘artist’. This is about using art as a tool to go inward and strengthen our relationship with our body-image. This workshop isn’t about exploring how we must LOVE our bodies all of the time, it is about how we can still respect, care for and nourish our bodies through the ebbs and flows of our body-image. These practices have helped me learn how to harness more self-compassion towards my body and ultimately what led me to create the art I do around body-image and showing up to live our big beautiful lives, no matter what type of body-image day you have. My goal is to have you walk away with a new set of tools to use to support yourself through your own ebbs and flows. We can’t always “think” our way out of our body-image setbacks, but the somatic practice of creating art can support our nervous system enough to help guide us through. -------------------------------------- Supplies needed: 3 sheets of blank paper, a pen, and any kind of supplies you may already have (markers, crayons, paint etc...) --------------------------- If you want to join, but unable to make the financial commitment - please email me at and we will create space for you. No one left behind. This workshop is virtual, if you cannot make the live you will be emailed a replay next day!
